Visit to Florida

This post retreived from the jasonramsey.net archival vaults.

A little longer between updates... I flew down to Florida for a while. Visited my parents and grandparents. It was good to be down, even for a short amount of time. Flying out of the Erie airport was a dream. Few lines, quick service. Flying back from Sarasota was a little rougher, but thankfully my mother pointed out the self-check terminals. Use them. They rock.

More recently listened to songs:

Thinking About Tomorrow - Beth Orton (Daybreaker)
Hey Jude - Beatles (Past Masters Vol.2)
Fill My Eyes - Cat Stevens (Mona Bone Jakon)
Soldier Blue - Buffy Sainte-Marie (Native North American Child)
Possession - Sarah McLachlan (Fumbling Towards Ecstasy)
One of these Mornings - Moby (18)

Bought bicycles on Wednesday night with Tiffany. We both got 24-speed, aluminum frame, hybrid bikes. (They're weak mountain bikes that are more geared towards road use than any off-roading.) The good news is that they were relatively inexpensive, and BY FAR better bicycles than what we had.

Otherwise, this month so far has been pretty interesting. A chance to spend time with relatives. A chance to get a lot done at work. And something even more interesting that I'll just sit on for a while.
