Updates

TiVo is great with watching football! I just start watching the game 30 minutes in to it, fast forward through commercials and the halftime show, and I'm basically caught up by the beginning of the fourth quarter.

The Steelers game was awesome! I have no comment above and beyond what's being said in the media. I do think that the Steelers have a better chance of beating the Pats than most national media is giving them credit for.

Also - more pictures for the Tim Hortons Erie PA construction page.

I got TiVo about a year ago and recommend it to anyone who is a sports fan or is never home for his or her favorite show. Kind of funny, I think this is the first thing I've read on your site I agree with (I'm a bit more aligned with the right than the left).

It is just great for sports. You get your own replays too, although my wife gets mad that I rewind right away instead of waiting for CBS to do their own replay. I guess I shouldn't complain - she's watching football with me, right????

Nothing wrong with being aligned more with the right than the left... I've got a pretty strong libertarian "hands-off" streak in me to go with my social liberalism. A good friend of mine always said I was more "Republican" than I would admit. (And I know the opposite is true of him...) But aren't the definitions of Republican and Democrat changing before our very eyes? Democrats are defending "states rights" again and Republicans are becoming champions of big government... Party loyalty can be a silly thing, but that hard core loyalty is keeping "Republicans" in office right now, so I've had to just temporarily be an ultra-loyal "Democrat" as a reaction. Does that make me a reactionary? Ugh.
