My life is crap
apparently...
I got the most bizarre junk email this afternoon. It's from someone I don't know. The subject is "Best" and the entire body of the message says "Your life is crap."
I'm trying to figure out why someone would spam me with this... There were no links or other things getting me to buy something. I wonder if they're softening me up for some sales pitch at a later date to "uncrap my life."
So now I'm depressed. My life is crap.

I've gotten three copies of the same email. The name of "person you don't know" has either been copied from a harvest list, or is merely a concatenation of two names and not a real person at all.
At any rate, the mail is likely simply testing for bounce backs. It's too bad we can't force a bounce back with an "unknown user" message in order to prune ourselves from these lists.

Why is it spam? Somebody just send you an email....thats all.. :)

So apparently, since I'm now on the harvest list, if my life isn't crap now, it will be when I start getting all the junk mail. It's a lose lose situation for me. I'm resigned to my fate.
