Word of advice. Choose DSL from a local
ISP over cable in a second.
Adelphia cable has been nothing but trouble, and the bursts of occasional speed I get from it that top DSL are NOT worth it. DSL is not available in my development yet. I'll be dropping the cable crap as soon as the cheap special has run its course.
I'm going to make sure I keep this info separate from work from now on. Heard a good word of advice from someone who is very influential in my opinions, basically questioning why in god's name someone would post their life on the internet. I'm inclined to agree. To each his/her own, is my philosophy, so don't consider this a judgement on those who do post their guts for all to see. Just not my bag. It says a lot about the person who feels it necessary to open themselves to the world. Personally, I was mainly doing it as a "me-too". What does that say about me, huh? :)
However, I'll post my random updates still, and now more often, as long as
Adelphia cooperates.
I've been busy updating my new mp3 player. It's an
Archos Jukebox, holds 20gb of mp3's, and I got a very good deal! Not a bad haul. I'll probably only get it to 12-13gb before I run out of music. It's also a removable hard drive, so I've used it to back up my computer, both at work and at home.
There will be a digital tour of my house coming soon. Probably next weekend.
