End of an era

This post retreived from the jasonramsey.net archival vaults.

End of an era. Hearing through the grapevine, and now officially, to be in tomorrow's press. Stargate's plan to emerge from Chapter 11 means to be no more.

Had my ToolCity mailbox since July of 1998. Darn it. Email me if you're not sure where you should be sending your email, but the toolcity mailbox is sure to be valid for a good while longer. Stargate isn't going anywhere in the immediate short term probably, so you've plenty of time to change your address books!

A lot, lot more I could say about what I think about the whole situation. Talk to me in person, I'm not going into details in a public forum!

I plan to get some of those wedding/honeymoon pictures up before long. I promise!!!! In the mean time, you can see the print that I put up in my office yesterday to help spruce things up. Roy Lichtenstein is cool pop art. Most of his stuff would be a little weird for an office setting in my book, but I had a special attraction to this one for some reason.

Honeymoon

This post retreived from the jasonramsey.net archival vaults.

We returned from the honeymoon yesterday. Finally getting a chance to sort through things. Heather and Derek house-sat for us. THANK YOU GUYS!!!! It was so nice to come home to a house that we knew was in one piece (or better!)

We had a blast and avoided most of the rain that was hitting the entire northeast all week. For some reason, Bar Harbor Maine didn't get rained on at all. We didn't complain one bit. Check out the wedding site to see more, and hopefully I'll get pictures up soon.

Power outage hit the entire northeast last night. Erie only went down for 30 minutes (or at least our area in Erie...) Hope everyone is okay by now!

The wedding

Just woke up. Wedding was yesterday. It was wonderful. We were so glad to see everyone there and happy! The most important thing on our wedding day was for Tiffany and I to be with each other, but the second most important thing was to be with family and friends. I know it sounds sappy, but it was really true. Thank you, everyone!
