Funniest movie moment ever

A holiday themed post - or at least as holiday themed as you'll get from me:

This movie clip has the funniest five second moment that I have ever seen filmed. If you've never seen Monty Python's Life of Brian, it is a great satire on the excesses of fanatical religion. The set up on this clip is that Brian has just escaped from the clutches of Pontius Pilate and the Roman centurions in Jerusalem, and he's heading up a staircase. (An incomplete staircase apparently...)

The Bluesy Jason Ramsey

This is probably tantamount to committing Google search Seppuku, but I'm posting about some blues tracks I downloaded from Jason Ramsey. (Not me, but a Jason Ramsey in LA whose got a darn good voice!)

I've been the top ranked "Jason Ramsey" on Google for years now, but it looks like this guy might be starting to get some well deserved buzz, and I've been listening to "Business As Usual" and "Kicking and Screaming" off of his album "Move To Strike" for some time now. They're easily worth the six or seven bucks on iTunes. (No link to Amazon - he's not available there yet...)

Maybe this will put him up on the rankings a little. He deserves it. Merry Christmas!

Feeling old...

I've repeatedly asked some of the students I work with: "Is this what the kids are doing these days?"

All of the people I know are having babies.

I went to an appliance store on Saturday to get a replacement oven part, and all I could think about was how much I wanted a new range, dishwasher and dryer.  There were high-def TV's in the store.  And I was looking at Frigidaires and Whirlpools.

I was excited about getting money for Christmas because I'm thinking of investing in a Roth IRA.

None of this feels weird to me.

Puppy flashback

This is from this summer, when Zoe was just a little pup still! I forgot Tiff posted this until I was doing some camera stuff yesterday...
